Wright Contracting was awarded the Price Park project to repair an aging stream restoration contract completed by another contractor in 2001. The stream had developed several deteriorating banks and structures. A mid channel bar had formed in a riffle resulting in significant bank failure and erosion. Wright Contracting installed geo lifts with live whips and stakes and reconstructed a riffle to rectify the mid channel bar. Failed structures were recycled into boulder cluster bank protection. The project involved regrading of approximately 600 LF. The project included live stream pump around. The project area was replanted with containerized plants, live stakes, and willow whips. Additional containerized trees were planted in areas of the conservation easement to replace those damaged by beaver activity.
